Editorial

After all the planning over many months the U3A Network Conference is finally here. Participants will be treated to a range of different speakers, with time set aside for U3A members to take part in discussions about the challenges facing their individual groups.

There will be a changing of the guard at this conference with Gail Bonser stepping down and Rhonda Weston AM taking over as President. We thank Gail for her dedication over the last four years. It has brought significant changes to many areas within the Network that will help guide the future direction we will take. We also thank Colin Maddocks for the hard work he has put in contributing to the future outlook for the Network over the last four years. Colin is retiring at the AGM.

At the Network Conference we will launch the Network's new website that will allow us to offer improvements in accessing information as well as providing E-News in a new digital format as well as a printed version. The first of these will be a special E-News issue that will be published after the Conference.

Lastly, I am looking forward to meeting those of you who are coming to the conference and we see the rest of you next time.

Secretaries/presidents and publicity officers can assist by distributing our E-News to your committee and other members. You can use the URL link provided below to insert it in your newsletters or notices to allow members to access the E-News on their own devices.
