Conference Theme: 'Celebrating 40 years of Lifelong Learning'
U3A Sunshine Coast warmly invites U3A delegates to the U3A Network State Conference 2026 to be held in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. Theme for the conference is 'Celebrating 40 years of Lifelong Learning’.
“The U3A Network State Conference is coming to the Sunshine Coast,” said President Mike Loftus. “We begin the celebrations of 40 years of U3A in Queensland on Tuesday 12th May, followed by two days of inspiring conference sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. Indulge in a delightful Conference dinner on Wednesday night. We warmly invite U3A delegates and members from U3As across Queensland to join with us to celebrate four decades of U3A in Queensland.”

Getting there: Sippy Downs is centrally located on the Sunshine Coast off the M1 Highway.
Options include:
- Travel by car via Bruce Highway (M1) – take exit 194 for Sunshine Motorway towards Mooloolaba, take the Dixon Road exit, turn right onto Sippy Downs Drive, turn into Stringybark Road. The Auditorium is immediately on the left.
- Catch the Nambour line train from Brisbane Central to Landsborough and travel by regular bus service or ride-share to Sippy Downs
- Fly to Sunshine Coast Airport Maroochydore and travel by ride-share to Sippy Downs
