Recently retired from the Network committee, we say farewell to Colin Maddocks, our Network Communications Officer. Over the years many very capable people have served on the Network Committee, each one bringing their own contribution in so many different ways – and Colin certainly brought his brand of efficient management style and boundless enthusiasm to the Network.
President Rhonda Weston AM said of Colin, “It would be difficult to find a more enthusiastic, hard-working, super-efficient, innovative and forward-thinking person than Colin. Always the first to answer emails with a positive, encouraging and constructive response, Colin is the progressive activist that you want on your team. He was the driver of the latest update to the Strategic Plan launched in 2021, team leader of the Communications Subcommittee and, more recently, co-creator of the recently released U3A promotional video.
“Colin may have stepped down from the Network Committee but his passion for U3A defines his character. We look forward to his continued contributions to U3A.
“On behalf of the Network Committee and all U3A members, Colin thank you for your excellent service to U3A and we wish you great things in your future endeavours.”
