U3A Network State Conference 2024 T&Cs

The U3A Network Queensland State Conference 2024, hosted by U3A Beaudesert from 28 to 30 May 2024 will bring together delegates from the 36 U3As across Queensland. The Beaudesert organising team have arranged an impressive lineup of guest speakers and events that will make this conference an event to remember.

Theme for the Conference is ‘Lifelong Learning – A Scenic View’.

• 28 May – Meet and Greet

• 29 May – Network Conference – Day 1
  • The Centre Beaudesert – 82 Brisbane St, Beaudesert
  • Conference commences at 8:00 am for registrations
  • Lunch & Morning/Afternoon Tea provided (Lanyard Required)

• 30 May – Network Conference & Network AGM – Day 2
  • The Centre Beaudesert – 82 Brisbane St, Beaudesert
  • Conference commences at 8:30 am
  • AGM commences at 9.00 am

Date registrations open: 16 February 2024

Date conference and optional activities registrations close: 

Earlybird offer: To go in the draw for the Earlybird prize you need to register during the period 16 February to 26 April 2024.

Earlybird prize: Refund of cost conference fee 29 -30 May 2024 ($110).

Conference Fees: Schedule of fees for conference days and celebrations.

Cancellation of conference events: Delegates may cancel bookings for events up to 26 April 2023 by emailing the conference organisers at conf2024u3aqld@gmail.com Note: U3A Beaudesert will deduct 10% from the refund to cover credit card processing and administrative costs.

Optional Excursions: Optional excursions will be posted to the website closer to the date of the conference. Bookings and payments for these will be via a third-party organisation and not through our registration process.

Attendee limits:

• No limits on delegates to the Conference
• Attendees to the Meet and Greet function will be limited to 100.
