John Armstrong

John Armstrong was reelected to the Committee as Vice President at the Annual General Meeting in 2023. John brings three years contribution to U3A: two years at Vice President U3A Network Queensland and three years as Communications Officer U3A Sunshine Coast.
During that time his major focus has been on increasing the digital capability and digital awareness of these two U3A organisations, mainly through the following projects:
• Design and development of an updated website for U3A Network Queensland along with an email system for the Network newsletter.
• Design and development of an updated website for U3A Sunshine Coast along with an email system for the eVoice newsletter.
• More recently, development of an online marketing, registration and payment system for the U3A Network Queensland State Conference in May 2023.
• IT support for both organisations including graphics and audio-visual materials for meetings and conferences.
