U3A Mackay has been announced as host for the U3A Network State Conference 2027 to be held in the tropical city of Mackay on the Coral Sea Coast of Queensland. Theme for the conference is ‘A Little Further North’.
President Muriel Kilcullen said that U3A Mackay are building the 2027 conference around three key experiences: Learn, Share, and Connect. Their goals are that every delegate will: learn something, contribute or share something, take back useful things for their own U3A group, and, most importantly, network, engage, and establish connections across U3As.
